ROMA (ITALPRESS) – A month after the opening of the Sportcity Meeting 2026, the wait for the appointment that from 20 to 22 March will turn Fiuggi into a large national workshop dedicated to the future of the “Republic of the Movement” and active communities. The initiative promoted by Fondazione Sportcity in collaboration with the Municipality of Fiuggi, which will involve more than 200 people working among representatives of national and local institutions, managers, entrepreneurs of the sector and sports managers, is confirmed as one of the most important moments of comparison of the year for institutions, local administrators, professionals of the field and protagonists of the sports world. The countdown has begun and the program of the 2026 edition is enriched by prominent guests and content that will focus on the role of sport as a leverage of well-being, development and social cohesion. The official opening will be held at 17.00 of March 20 at the Teatro di Fiuggi with the introduction of the president of Fondazione Sportcity, Fabio Pagliara, and the greeting of the mayor Alioska Baccarini.
Among the most anticipated moments of the inaugural day there will be interviews with important institutional representatives, starting from the Minister for Sport and Young Andrea Abodi, together with the undersecretary to the environment Claudio Barbaro, to Mr Mauro Berruto and to the president of the Assembly of Rome Capital Svetlana Celli. In the course of the evening is also planned the signature of the alliance with the network of gyms for SportCity Day together with Andrea Pambianchi. The second day, Saturday 21, will live with a series of interventions dedicated to sports policies, infrastructure and development of the territories. Among the protagonists of the morning there will be Diego Nepi Molineris, Livio Gigliuto and Evelina Christillin, as well as representatives of the institutions and the world of sports facilities. The presentation of the data and analyses of the permanent sports Observatory with Federico Serra and Attilio Parisi is also foreseen. The day will continue in the afternoon with a high-level training course on media and storytelling, sustainability, tourism and sports facilities.
Sunday, March 22, the final day that will be dedicated to the comparison between local administrators and stakeholders with the “Bar dello Sport” format, accompanied by podcasts and moments of dialogue reserved for the councillors of all Italy and accredited participants.
