The new Mazda CX-6e debuts at MAXXI between art, vision and innovation

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – After the world premiere at the Brussels Auto Show, the New Mazda CX-6e was presented in Rome in the extraordinary setting of the MAXXI – National Art Museum of the 21st century, the museum dedicated to contemporary art and architecture. Designed by Zaha Hadid, the MAXXI is an icon of innovation, vision and design research; an ideal setting to welcome a car that interprets the Kodo style and the Mazda building philosophy. The smooth and dynamic lines of the New Mazda CX-6e dialogue with the futuristic geometries of the museum, in a meeting between automotive design and contemporary architecture that expresses harmony, technology and craftsmanship of detail. The choice of this location emphasizes the ambition of the new model: combining aesthetics, sustainability and innovation. For the occasion, the Mazda Temporary Exhibition was conceived as a natural extension of the museum structure, a real “Polo B of MAXXI”, designed to harmoniously dialogue with the architecture and geometries of the museum, integrating fully into its exhibition philosophy. Within this space, the New Mazda CX-6e takes on the role of central work, valued with the same care and attention reserved to a work of art. Along the perimeter walls are exposed the design drawings and stylistic studies of the car, accompanied by explanatory captions that tell the genesis, aesthetic language and technological innovation. This exhibition offers visitors an immersive and immersive experience, transforming the visit into a real journey through the creative process, from the initial conception to the final model, highlighting the research, harmony and precision that characterize every detail of the CX-6e. The New Mazda CX-6e embodies Japanese aesthetics through a clean design, meticulous attention to detail and a cabin designed to convey harmony and comfort. Inspired by the Kodo – Soul of Motion, it represents a daring and contemporary evolution of the Mazda style, where fluidity, elegance and dynamism coexist with technological innovation and sustainability, making the car not only a means of transport, but a real object of design. Mazda expands its electrification strategy by introducing an SUV that interprets the distinctive values of the House: humancentricity, driving pleasure (Joy of Driving) and building quality. The electric motor, powered by a 78 kWh battery, develops 190 kW (258 hp) and 290 Nm torque, ensuring a prompt and linear response thanks to the rear drive, an identity element of Mazda’s driving pleasure. The range, up to 484 km in the WLTP cycle, and the current rapid charging continues to 195kW guarantee serenity both in long journeys and in daily travel. The cabin, with a 26-inch central display, voice controls and advanced driving assistance systems, offers a technological but intuitive environment, where comfort, safety and involvement blend into an advanced electric mobility experience.
