VERONA (ITALPRESS) – BYD Bus and ATV Verona strengthen their partnership with the introduction of 34 latest electric buses on the urban network of Verona. The fleet includes the new BYD eBUS B12, a unique global solution for architecture and technological integration: the Blade Battery LFP is not only a source of energy, but a structural part of the chassis, contributing to rigidity, stability and overall weight reduction. This innovative approach improves driveability, optimizes load distribution and increases energy autonomy and performance, marking a true paradigm shift in the design of the electric urban bus. The BYD eBUS B12 offers 29 seats, total capacity of 88 passengers and 416 kWh batteries, guaranteeing up to 530 km of autonomy with fast charging DC Combo2 up to 170 kW. To complete the fleet, the BYD eBUS K9UD ensure high reliability and performance with capacity up to 82 passengers and DC Combo2 charging up to 100 kW.All vehicles operate in completely electric mode, without exhaust emissions and with reduced noise levels, improving the air quality and environmental sustainability of Verona. The partnership between BYD and ATV goes beyond the provision of buses, configuring itself as a long-term technological collaboration that consolidates Verona as a national reference for advanced urban electric mobility.
