MILAN (ITALPRESS) – “A tyre designed to meet the needs of motorcyclists using road enduros”. With these words Fabio Salamone, Head of Motion Communication by Michelin Italia, presented in Milan the new tyre Anakee Adventure 2. A product that arrives at a particular moment for the brand: in 2026 Michelin Italy celebrates in fact 120 years of history, strong of its presence in Lombardy in Milan and especially in Piedmont in Turin and with the production sites of Alessandria and Cuneo (the first for heavy vehicles and the second for cars). In 2025 Michelin’s induced amounted to 328 million euros with 2,800 suppliers. The brand also maintains an installed capacity of 14 million tyres a year that makes it the first manufacturer in Italy. As Salamone explained, Anakee Adventure 2 “complete the Anakee range by placing itself among a more road brand like Road 6 and specialized models like Anakee Wild more marked by a challenging off road”.
In this regard, Anakee adventure 2 has a cutting rate of 32%, while in Anakee Wild is 64%. From this point of view And compared to the previous version (Anakee Adventure), the benefits of the new tire are the greater length of kilometers, a better grip on the wet and an enhanced acoustic comfort. In detail, the noise in the helmet reduced by 30%, while the external noise marks a decrease of 2 db. With regard to the length of the kilometre the front one marks an improvement of +7% while the rear one improves of 21%. Parameters that allow to have a more balanced and uniform wear for the tyre set. Wet adherence increased by 10%. Such benefits were possible thanks to the structure of the tyre. As for the tread, a lot has been worked on the size of the dowels: the central area has different dimensions to reduce noise. In fact there are transverse grooves to increase longitudinal traction and other inclined to give more transversal grip, characteristics suitable for off-road use. On the mescole front, Anakee Adventure 2 presents a new silica formulation with 2CT technology that improves grip on wet and Kilometer rendering. Michelin Reinforced Radial-X carcass technology Evo offers more robustness for off-road routes.
