Inter salutes the Champions, Bodo also wins the return of the play-off

MILAN (ITALPRESS) – Inter fails in the company and, indeed, capitulate under the blows of a sparkling Bodo Glimt. In San Siro, Norwegian training passes for 2-1 and, after winning 3-1 the play-off, writes a new chapter in its recent history. After the Conference and Europa League semi-finals, the Bodo will now be able to play even the eighth Champions against one between Sporting Lisbon and Manchester City. Turning off the Nerazzurri dream, the former Milan Hauge (helped by Akanji’s grave mistake) and Evjen think about it. For the first time Inter grinds opportunities from goals, but the result remains nailed on 0-0. The first ring of the match is by Pio Esposito who sends the invitation of Dimarco a little high. As usual, the Italian outside is one of the most pimping and, at 12′, on development of corner, engages Haikin with a poisonous left around: the extreme defender of Bodo is providential even on the head of Frattesi at 28′. The best play of the first fraction is Zielinski who first dribbla two men and then kicks towards the door, touching the eurogol. The Bodo, instead, is seen from the parts of Sommer only to 35′ with the attempt of Evjen. On the final of time, the Nerazzurri claim the rigour in two circumstances, but from the replay the protests are unfounded. The Nerazzurri attacks are asphyxiating even at the beginning of the shooting, but the goal continues not to arrive. As time passes, the Bodo seems to be more mentally on the piece. In fact, at 58′, the curtain falls on the European adventure of Inter. The meneghina training, in fact, is betrayed by Akanji, one of the best players of the season. The Swiss defender, probably still stunned by a hard blow to the head, misses the pass and gives ball to the opponents at the limit of the area: He submerges Blomberg’s attempt, but can’t do anything about Hauge’s 1-0 rebate. Akanji tries to redeem himself at 69′, but his turn is printed on the pole: on the rebate then Thuram devours the net. If there were still, at 72′ the Norwegians definitively turn out the Nerazzurri hopes, finding the double with the right at the flight of Evjen on assist of Hauge. Useful only for statistics, instead, the Bastoni goal on action from corner. The Chivu team closes so prematurely a Champions made more than low than high. Between return and return, the Bodo showed more physical freshness, organization and above all desire to move forward. After having forced Italy to playoffs worldwide, Norwegian football still triumphs in San Siro.
