This was confirmed by the President of the ECB, Christine Lagarde, in an audit at the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs (Econ) of the European Parliament. Lagarde has remembered the difficulties faced by the euro area in recent years. “We can now see that our efforts have been effective,” he said. The forecasts of the central institute confirm a stabilization on the percentage of 2% also in the medium term, Lagarde said.
