NAPOLI (ITALPRESS) – Masi seizure from more than 2,2 million euros towards an entrepreneur originally from Caserta suspected of having won several public contracts and concrete supplies “thanks to his bond with the Casalesi clan”. Military of the Economic-Financial Police Nucleus – G.I.C.O. of the Guardia di Finanza of Naples have performed a decree of seizure issued by the Section Measures of Prevention of the Tribunal of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, at the request of the District Direction Antimafia of Naples, towards a 51-year-old entrepreneur, native of San Cipriano d’Aversa (Caserta), operating in the field of the supply of concrete and construction and road works.
The measure, write the financiers in a note, concerns “an estimated securities and real estate of more than 2.2 million euros and is based on elements suitable to outline a judgment of qualified social danger of the proposed”. The entrepreneur has been definitively convicted of recycling aggravated by the mafia circumstance and is currently referred to trial for external competition in mafia-type association, fraudulent transfer of values and auction turban.
The investigations, coordinated by the Prosecutor of the DDA Republic of Naples, have evidenced that, “since the first two thousand years, would have been inserted in a narrow circuit of entrepreneurs of reference of the clan of Casalesi-fazione Schiavone”. In particular, the declarations of several collaborators of justice, found by investigations, “place it permanently in a system of alteration of public races, especially in the province of Caserta, founded on fictitious headers of societies, corrupt practices and the intimidation deriving from the force of the Camoristic Sodalitium”.
In this context, “the link with the clan would have allowed the entrepreneur to contract major public contracts and substantial concrete supplies; in parallel, the organization would have benefited from a constant flow of economic resources through false invoicing, cash withdrawals and credit securities monetization, with percentages charged to the value of the orders or the quantities provided.” The economic-patrimony assessments carried out by financiers towards the proposed and the relative family nucleus have revealed “a significant disproportion between the declared income and the accumulated assets over time, considered to be a result of an unlawful enrichment connected with the stable relationship with the clan”.
