ROMA (ITALPRESS) – In 2025 Renault has deeply renewed Austral, the pillar model of segment C. The design has been refined to strengthen the stylistic link with Renault Rafale, while the on-board experience has been further optimized, thanks to new technologies and superior comfort. Today, the entire range is equipped with Full Hybrid E-Tech 200 cv motorization that offers the best balance between efficiency and performance. Austral guarantees a total range of up to 1,100 km with a full capacity and is confirmed the most efficient of the category, with consumption of 4,7 l/100 km.With over 21,000 cars sold from the launch, Renault Austral has always represented a key model in the development of the performance of the segment C. Available exclusively with Full Hybrid E-Tech 200cv engine, Austral E-tech series is positioned with a price list starting from 35900. To make the range even more competitive and consistent with the recent restyling, Renault introduces the standard Black Etoilè color, with a customer advantage of 1,000 euros compared to previous versions. In addition, the range is completed with a new body color “Blu Ardesia satinato” that is added to the standard color palette, be-style and satin, available on the model. Designed especially for private customers and small and medium-sized enterprises, the Austral E-Tech Series range is divided as follows: Evolution E-Tech series 35.900 euro; Techno E-Tech series 37,400 euro; Esprit Alpine E-Tech series 40,400 euro. From today Renault Austral proposes new technological equipment that significantly improve life on board, connected, comfortable and safe. The goal is to offer an even more premium and intuitive driving experience, in line with the evolution of the Renault range. Renault, who is one of the first automotive manufacturers to offer this type of technology, proposes for the first time in its range an induction charger with Qi2 standard (or Magsafe for iPhone). This technology, available on most of the latest smartphones, includes a magnetic ring to ensure maximum charging power (recovery of 50% of the battery in one hour) without overheating. This induction charger does not exclude the previous models of smartphones already rechargeable to induction that can, in turn, use this technology simply by adding a cover or a magnetic ring. As of 2026, Austral can count on the new connectivity offered by the Airnity virtual operator, specializing in automotive connectivity. This offer includes a secure Internet package, directly integrated into the car infotainment system to use the apps downloaded in OpenR links. It is therefore no longer necessary to switch from your smartphone to take advantage of the available applications while driving. With an Internet package included (2 GB/month for 3 years or for the entire duration of the contract concluded with Mobilize Financial Services), the customer can cover the monthly use of the most popular apps by car (up to 40 hours of audio streaming or up to 3 hours of video streaming). Gemini, Google’s AI assistant soon available with a future Over the Air update, will replace Google Assistant. Gemini goes far beyond, being a real conversational assistant powered by Artificial Intelligence. This means that instead of having to remember the exact phrase to say to express a request, with Gemini it will be possible to speak spontaneously, keep an interactive conversation and realize more complex tasks. It is also possible to interrupt it in the middle of a sentence or change language without difficulty during the conversation. On Austral Renault replaces the Lost mode with the new Smart Mode that automatically manages the passage between the various MULTI-SENSE modes (Eco, Confort and Sport) according to the guide adopted by the drivere. Smart Mode allows, for example, to be able to immediately count on the reactivity of Sport mode in case of overtaking, but also to save by switching to Eco mode whenever the pace of driving slows down, as when crossing a inhabited center.
