ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The applications for the Milanese edition of the educational project “Giovani On the Road”, a unique initiative, promoted by the Associazione Ragazzi On the Road with the support of the Ministry of Infrastructures and Transport and the Ministry of Interior. The path was born in the context of an innovative Interministerial Protocol that puts at the centre a clear and urgent objective: to strengthen among young people the culture of road safety and legality, transforming prevention into concrete and structured experience, on the field, approaching the new generations to the institutions.
The first stage of the interministerial project “Giovani On the Road 2026” will offer to 30 girls and boys over 16 years the opportunity to live a week of training in the field next to the Order Forces and the realities engaged daily in the protection of public safety and relief. The Milanese stage, coordinated by the Prefecture of Milan, will take place from 9 to 15 March 2026, in conjunction with the Paralympic Games Milan Cortina 2026, taking place in a context of particular civic and institutional importance. It is not about simulations, but real shifts, in real contexts, along the entire supply chain of prevention and safety: from road controls to operational power stations, to the chain of the Single European Number 112 (NUE), to understand concretely how each intervention contributes to the safeguard of life and health.
Each participant will be accompanied by a qualified educative team composed of psychologists, educators and prevention professionals, to guarantee a structured, supervised and high educational impact. The experience, founded also on a peer to peer dynamic, allows young people to become credible witnesses among peers, multiplying the message of responsibility and legality.
