ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Invest in skills and accompany young people in the world of work, contributing to the development of qualified employment in Italy. With this goal Philip Morris International kicks off “Future in Progress”, a career growth path for university students, graduates and young professionals at the beginning of their career. The initiative is part of the company’s strategy to attract and develop new talents in a context of strong industrial and technological transformation, offering structured training opportunities and professional paths both in Italy and abroad. The program offers the opportunity to collaborate with local and international teams and provides internships, internships and entry and mid-level roles in numerous business functions. The areas involved include: digital and data analytics, operations and supply chain, marketing and consumer experience, research and development, as well as corporate functions, including finance, human resources, communication and legal affairs. For Pasquale Frega, Chairman and CEO of Philip Morris Italia, “this new project strengthens Philip Morris’ commitment to talent training and the integrated supply chain that already counts over 3,200 employees and 44,000 people involved in industrial, research, logistics, distribution and services. Investing in young people means promoting the competitiveness of the country: through programs like Future in Progress we contribute to creating advanced skills, supporting qualified employment and generating value throughout the industry, with positive effects on the Italian economic and productive fabric.” Within the project “Future in Progress” also includes the Graduate Program, a development program aimed at graduates who wish to pursue an international career. The program lasts two years and provides a structured development plan with rotations in different business functions, allowing participants to gain experience in different business areas and develop a transversal vision of the organization. “With Future in Progress, Philip Morris International confirms itself as a company that invests concretely in young talents and their potential, offering an authentic experience and an opportunity for growth in a changing context. The program will involve up to 40 resources, including 15 within the Graduate Program.
