MESSINA (ITALPRESS) – A 50-year-old woman, Daniela Zinnanti, was found dead in her home in Via Lombardia, in the Lombardo district, in Messina. The body was discovered last night around 20:00 inside the apartment where the woman lived alone. To make the tragic discovery would be the daughter, worried because the mother did not answer the phone for several hours. Once he entered the house, the young man found himself in front of the crime scene and immediately gave the alarm. The state police and the mobile team intervened.
On the victim’s body there would have been several signs of cutting weapon: according to the first information, the woman would have been struck with more knifed. During the investigation, a man was stopped by investigators. It would be the former victim’s partner, a 67-year-old, who after doing some admissions was arrested and transferred to Gazzi prison. Investigators are also looking for the murder weapon, which could be a knife with black handle, in areas close to the house. In the meantime, the images of the surveillance cameras in the area were acquired, which could help rebuild the exact dynamic of the murder. On the scene of the crime, the experts of the Scientific Police for Reliefs, together with the magistrate in turn and the medical officer in charge of the first reconnaissance on the victim’s body.
