REGGIO CALABRIA (ITALPRESS) – The Carabinieri of Melito Porto Salvo have carried out an order of custody in prison issued by the G.I.P. of the Court of Reggio Calabria, at the request of the local prosecutor of the Republic, against persons held responsible, in various degrees, for theft of oncologic, chemotherapy and biological drugs at high cost subtracted from the hospital pharmacy of the Hospital “Tiberio Evoli” of Melito Porto Salvo.
The operation is the result of a complex investigation carried out by the Operational Nucleus of the Carabinieri Company of Melito Porto Salvo and coordinated by the Procura della Repubblica di Reggio Calabria
“Releasing cancer medication is an unworthy gesture. It is shameful what happened at the Tiberio Evoli hospital in Melito Porto Salvo.
