CATANIA (ITALPRESS) – A 58-year-old resident in the province of Catania, where he worked as a school worker within a secondary education institution, was arrested because he was seriously suspected of detention of large pedopornographic material. The investigation, developed by the Cibernetic Security Center of the Postal Police of Catania, originates from a signal of the non-governmental organization of the United States National Centre for Missing Exploited Children (NCMEC) to the National Center of Contrast of the On-line Pedopornography (CNCPO) of the Postal Police Service of Rome that sent the note to the Postal Police of Catania for investigative insights. The report indicated the profile of an alleged Italian whose account kept images and videos of child pornography in memory.
The cyber investigations of the state police specialists have allowed to identify the man and, within the devices in his use, a large number of images and pedopornographic videos were found also with victims in childhood or with scenes of zooerastia, which resulted in the arrest in scourgency of crime, validated by the Catania Gip. Man is now at home. The investigation also held several digital photos of the school premises with minor pupils, some of which were made unknowingly. The images were subsequently modified with artificial intelligence programs, found within the devices seized, so as to denud the minors (deep-nude) positioning them next to the image of the investigation.
