MILAN (ITALPRESS) – There is no peace for Inter that, after losing the derby, risks losing ground again from Milan. The Nerazzurri are in fact 1-1 against the Atalanta among the polemics, born after the advantage of Esposito from the contested tie of Krstovic and from a potential rigor not granted in the final. The race begins with a good rhythm from the Atalanta, which after the debacle in Champions against the Bayern returns to the usual 3-4-2-1 and finds Ederson, replaced in the shooting and among the best in the field. Chivu instead launches Sucic, a flight and confusion in the first time, and finds the Thuram-Esposito couple. The best departure is from the Atalanta, which puts in crisis the Nerazzurri defense with the movements of Scamacca, but does not make it dangerous from the parts of Sommer. With the passing of the minutes the capolista raises the rhythm, finds a good Barella and passes: assist of the 23, Pio Esposito collects and unlocks with a Carnesecchi not perfect on the occasion. They suffered from relief for the drivers, who did not score from Juventus and had been strongly criticized for the derby played with Bonny.
Dimarco and Zielinski wear the doubling, but Carnesecchi armours his door and Inter tries again in the shooting, with Mkhitaryan in addition: the goalkeeper is still decisive, while Thuram wastes on two occasions. Inter does not take advantage of his chances, while Atalanta changes skin with Ederson and Krstovic, which give more rhythm and verticality to the team. The goddess grows with the passing of minutes, Carlos Augusto avoids the paris and then comes the episode that completely changes the outcome of the game. We are at 81’, when there is a suspicious body-check between Dumfries and Sulemana: the outside denounces a push (which seems to be there), Chivu protests for a contact between the feet of the two players (which is not there) and is expelled. Manganiello non fischia, Krstovic sacks in tap-in and also Var confirms the goal of 1-1, among the whistles of San Siro. From here the game becomes nervous and tense, with Inter jumping forward and asks for a rigour (not whistled) on Frattesi. This is how it ends, with an equal taking the lead driver to 68 points and giving Milan the chance to take to -5, beating Lazio. The Atalanta, however, interrupts a strip of five kos and rises at 47 points.
