Road safety, the first stage of the project “Giovani On the Road 2026” ends in Milan

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Yesterday, at the Prefecture of Milan, the first stage of “Giovani On the Road 2026”, the socio-educational project promoted by the Associazione Ragazzi On the Road with the support of the Ministry of Infrastructures and Transport and the Ministry of Interior.

The initiative implements the Interministerial Protocol between MIT and Viminale to strengthen, on a national scale, the education of young people to road safety, legality and compliance with rules, through concrete experiences alongside those who work on roads and emergencies. At the closing meeting were present, for the Prefecture of Milan, the Chief of Cabinet Nicola Venturo; for the MIT, the Director of the North-West Territorial Directorate-General Antonello Persano; for the Associazione Ragazzi On the Road, the founder and Vice President Alessandro Invernici.

More than 30 boys and girls lived a week on the field alongside Questura di Milano, Vigili del Fuoco, Polizia Locale, Motorizzazione Civile, Guardia di Finanza, health workers employed on the means of aid of the AAT of Milan, in the Unique Centrals of Response of the Single European Number 112 and SOREU Metropolitana. Satisfaction by the Vice-President of the Council and Minister, Matteo Salvini, for the start of the project, which translates into concrete actions the commitment of the Government for road safety, the prevention and civic formation of the new generations, using experimental and innovative models. An initiative that strengthens the relationship between young people and institutions and enhances the daily work of those who preside over the territory and protect citizens. Milan is the first of five stages planned in 2026. The goal is clear: bringing young people closer to institutions, promoting the culture of prevention and forming more aware, responsible and security-conscious citizens.
