TORINO (ITALPRESS) – Jeep dealers open doors to present the new Jeep Compass, a model that marks the evolution of one of the most appreciated SUVs in the world, with over 2.5 million units sold. An opportunity to discover a vehicle that combines tradition and innovation, confirming the central role of Jeep in the compact SUV segment. Designed in Italy between Turin and Balocco and produced at the Melfi plant on STLA Medium platform, the new Compass offers a complete range of motorizations, from e-Hybrid versions to 100% electric variants. The offer ranges from 145 hp e-Hybrid, 225 hp plug-in hybrid and full electric versions that can reach up to 375 hp with full traction and autonomy up to 650 km. The design maintains the iconic identity of the brand, combining robust style and modern lines, while the focus on the aerodynamics makes it possible to achieve a resistance coefficient of 0.29, without compromising habitability and versatility. The new Compass is designed to address every type of route, from the city to the long journeys, to the most demanding conditions thanks to systems like Selec-Terrain, 360 degree protections and an off-road equipment at the top of the category. On board, the technology is the protagonist with a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel, a 16-inch central display and Head-Up Display, for intuitive management of all functions. The steering wheel controls have been designed to ensure ease of use, while the integration of assisted driving systems contributes to improving comfort and safety. The One-Pedal Drive feature on electric versions and an advanced Level 2 autonomous driving package is among the innovations. Particular attention was also reserved for the driving experience, with systems such as the Predictive Adaptive Cruise Control, which automatically adapts the speed to traffic and the path, and the assisted lane change. A combination of technologies that makes the new Compass not only a versatile and performing SUV, but also a smart and safe travel companion.
