ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “The work as a moment of realization of the person, in comparison with the increasingly present technological innovations, up to artificial intelligence, is at the center of the reflections of the conference promoted in Florence by the National Federation of the Knights of Labour. Creativity is a distinctive sign of the Italian experience, starting from the crafts, appropriately evoked in the title of the meeting, up to the productions of excellence expressed by the entire Italian industrial and agricultural apparatus. The work, in its ethical, social and cultural connotation, was based on the Republic, as an element of affirmation of human dignity, freedom of each person, as a factor of cohesion of the national community. The challenge represented by the spread of the application of artificial intelligence to different areas is an opportunity to govern, with the aim of enhancing skills so that the labour market can be more dynamic and inclusive.” Thus the president of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, in a message sent to the president of the National Federation of the Knights of Labour, Ugo Salerno.
“To play an increasingly significant role in the future of a country is the human capital, the driving force of every society. The attention that the conference intends to put on the damage immediately from the community because of the difficulty of putting to fruit so many young energies usefully formed is precious. It is not a theme that concerns only young people who go out looking for a better life – he adds – but a challenge for all institutions and the world of the economy, who are likely to appear unequal to the development needs of our community. In observing that the expression of attention to the theme by an important portion of the ruling class of the country, represented by the National Federation of the Knights of Labour, constitutes a sign of important awareness, I address to all the participants in the conference my greeting”, concludes the head of the State.
