TORUN (POLONIA) (ITALPRESS) – Larissa Iapichino wins the silver medal in the long-female jump to the indoor athletic worlds of Torun 2026. The 23-year-old Tuscan Fiamme Oro, a European indoor champion in Apeldoorn 2025, won the first career medal at 6.87 meters. The blue bows only to the Portuguese Agate De Sousa, gold in 6.92. Complete the podium the Colombian Natalia Linares, bronze with 6.80.
World silver for Iapichino, which ran the 15th place of Tokyo in 2025, the seventh position of Glasgow 2024 and the fifth of Budapest 2023. For Italy it is the fourth podium in the Polish festival after the footsteps of Andy Diaz (triplo), Nadia Battocletti (3000 meters) and Zaynab Dosso (60).
