MILAN (ITALPRESS) – After the Champions League knockout, Milan will dive back into the league. It will be on the pitch in Florence against the Viola and will be looking for its fourth win in a row in Serie A. The Rossoneri’s coach Paulo Fonseca says this, without mincing words: “Tomorrow it will be important to win, not because we are playing away from home but because we have to give continuity to what we have done in the league: it is an opportunity to show that we have the same ambition both at home and away. “After the Champions League defeat the team was angry. During the week, however, I sensed good feelings. Playing in Florence is always difficult. They have a great team but we are ready to play a good game and of course we want to win. Morata is well and will play tomorrow,” Fonseca pointed out. “Continuity in training and schemes is important right now. Especially when we have a few extra days to recover energy between matches. It’s not that the others are not up to par, but we are doing well and we are in good shape. We have a good base, which supports the team’s growth, and we have to continue like this,” the Rossoneri coach said again. “Gabbia in the national team? I am the Milan coach and I don’t want to influence Spalletti but I think it was right to call him. He is in a great moment. I am very satisfied with him, he is a great professional: if there is a player who deserves this it is Gabbia,” Fonseca later explained. On individuals, finally, the Portuguese coach clarified some hierarchies: “Gabbia and Tomori are doing well, for now Pavlovic has to keep working, then he will have other opportunities. Fofana is very important for us and is improving every day. Musah is training to play in the midfield, after Bennacer’s injury we don’t have many players for that role.
