ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Mohamed Salah will close his adventure with Liverpool at the end of the 2025-26 season. The 33-year-old Egyptian attacker has reached an agreement with the Reds that will allow him to conclude an extraordinary chapter of nine years spent in Anfield. Salah expressed his desire to give this announcement to the fans as soon as possible, to ensure maximum transparency on his future, as a sign of respect and gratitude towards them.
Bought by Roma in the summer of 2017, number 11 became one of the biggest players in Reds history, contributing to the conquest of two Premier League titles, a Champions League, a World Club Championship, a European Super Cup, a FA Cup, two League Cups and a Community Shield. With 255 goals in 435 appearances, the Egyptian ranks third in the top scorers ever of Liverpool, having won the Premier League Golden Scarf for four times, as well as numerous personal awards. “Unfortunately the moment has arrived, I will leave Liverpool at the end of the season, but this will always be my home”, said Salah on Instagram running a video about his experiences with the English club.
