TORINO (ITALPRESS) – Stellantis today announced the launch of the new Stellantis Europe Supplier Advisory Council, a strategic forum dedicated to strengthening collaboration, consolidating long-term partnerships and developing joint solutions to address the most important challenges of the European automotive industry. Established for the first time in Europe, the Council brings together Stellantis’ highest regional managers for all major industrial functions, along with 26 suppliers partners representing a wide and diverse range of technologies, commodities and skills of the European automotive industry. During three sessions in 2026, each lasting one and a half day, the Council will work jointly to identify common challenges, define operational priorities and generate concrete “win-win” results, strengthening competitiveness, innovation and industrial performance. The Europe Supplier Advisory Council reflects Stellantis’ commitment to promoting transparent dialogue, faster decision-making processes and a modernised approach to partnership with suppliers – essential elements at a stage in which the automotive sector faces profound technological transformations, supply chain volatility, increasingly stringent regulatory requirements and customer expectations. The mission of the Council is to create an open and trusted forum for strategic confrontation; to identify operational bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement throughout the value chain; to activate joint Stellantis-supplier working groups to accelerate the development of solutions; to strengthen Europe’s ability to offer high quality, innovative and truly customer-centered products; to integrate the leadership of leading European suppliers’ associations, ANFIA and FIEV, which will cooperate closely with its partners. “The launch of the Europe Supplier Advisory Council is a fundamental step in our path of strengthening the industrial performance of the region,” said Emanuele Cappellano, COO of Stellantis Europe. “Today more than ever our success depends on a deep collaboration with the partners of the supply chain. By creating a shared space where openly discussing challenges and opportunities, we set the foundations for faster execution, stronger competitiveness and sustainable growth in Europe.” Stèphane Dubs, Senior Vice President Purchasing and Supplier Quality of Stellantis Europe, added: “Our suppliers are key players in Stellantis’ transformation. This new Council allows us to work side by side, in a climate of transparency and respect, to co-create advantageous solutions for both parties. Together we will address the critical issues that are redefining our industry – from quality to readiness of launches, from cost competitiveness to innovation and supply chain resilience – turning them into real strategic advantages for the entire ecosystem.” “ FIEV welcomes the opportunity to participate in the Stellantis Supplier Advisory Council, which is an important opportunity to strengthen the relationship and enrich dialogue with suppliers. This participation will allow us, together with ANFIA, to represent the collective voice of the supply chain and to actively contribute to the work of the Council” said Jean-Louis Pech, President of FIEV. “Today more than ever, it is essential to invest in a solid and profitable partnership between Stellantis and the ecosystem of the supply chain, narrowed between the weakness of the European market, geopolitical instability and an increasingly intense competition. Only by addressing the regulatory challenges of the European Union will be possible to support industry and research and development platforms in Europe,” said Marco Stella, Chairman of the ANFIA Components Group and Vice President of ANFIA. A commitmentthe three meetings of the Council in 2026 will be dedicated to the definition of common priorities, the alignment of expectations in terms of performance and the advancement of working groups that will guide collaboration throughout the year. These workstreams – co-driven by Stellantis executives and suppliers’ representatives – will focus on high-impact issues such as production planning, regulatory impacts and costs, prompt reactivity of technology and innovation, as well as operational excellence. Through this inaugural Council, Stellantis reaffirms its commitment to become the reference partner for the most strategic suppliers and to support a competitive, innovative and resilient European industrial base.
