FRANCOFORTE (GERMANY) (ITALPRESS) – Kia, from 21 to 23 April 2026, returns to the NEC of Birmingham on the occasion of the 2026 edition of the Commercial Vehicle Show, to present in European preview two new protagonists of the PV5 family: Cargo High Roof and Cargo Standard.
The two new versions of PV5, Cargo High Roof (L2H2) and Cargo Standard (L1H1) will make their debut in Europe, introducing new configurations in length and height in the PV5 range. The base is the same as the existing PV5 Cargo Long, and extend the model range in order to meet a wider variety of requirements in the field of transport and logistics.
The introduction of a smaller version represents the new entry level of the Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) range in Kia, which favours load efficiency and maneuverability in urban contexts. Customization with higher height balances vehicle size and useful load capacity, offering a D segment capacity in a C segment van. Other conversion models will also be presented, which will highlight the adaptability of the PBV platform to different industries.
Kia will present, together with the PV5 range, the Kia Business Solutions Ecosystem, the suite of solutions for recharging and managing fleets for companies. These technologies, designed to support a more conscious operational decision-making process, such as Kia Business Portal, Kia Fleet Management System (FMS), Business Mode in the Kia and Kia Charge for Business app, provide fleet operators with greater clarity on vehicle usage, charging habits and associated costs. Electric light commercial vehicles (eLCV) together with integrated digital services, allow Kia to offer an ecosystem that improves operating times and boosts efficiency to daily operations.
“Our presence at the Commercial Show 2026 highlights the strong momentum of Kia’s PBV strategy,” said Erhan Eren, Director PBV of Kia Europe. “With the introduction of two new versions, PV5 Cargo High Roof and PV5 Cargo Standard, we offer greater flexibility for a wide range of applications while maintaining the operational reliability that our customers expect. The articulated and versatile PBV range of Kia and the Kia Business Solutions ecosystem allow our customers to do business as ever before.”.
Further details on technical specifications, market availability and prices will be communicated in due time. The Commercial Vehicle Show will be held at the NEC in Birmingham from 21 to 23 April 2026 and this year marks the second participation of Kia in this important exhibition. The Kia stand at Hall 5, stand 5C95, will be focused on PV5 and will show how the brand’s PBV strategy is implemented to meet the operational needs of European companies and fleets.
