You knew it but the new Fifa ranking testifies, the first with the new system with real-time updates for the ranking. Many changes and also of some importance: France returns (the last time in September 2018) which earns two positions and, with 1877.32 points, guides the ranking in front of the champions of Europe of Spain and the champions of the world of Argentina that slip both of a step. In fourth place England, then Portugal which leads to the fifth bypassing the Brazil of Ancelotti now sixth, then close the top ten Holland, Morocco, Belgium and Germany. Eleventh Croatia, therefore here is Italy that gains a position, as well as Colombia, to the damage of Senegal that slips to 14th place. Among the nationals that stand out for the steps ahead there is Bosnia which yesterday landed the road to the World Championship.
Dzeko and comrades climb to 65th place earning (pass for the World Cup apart…) 6 boxes. Italy, despite the 53 extra seats, would gladly change rankings and qualifying. Also the Turkey of Montella (22^, +3), the Ivory Coast (34^, +3), Sweden (38^, +4) and Tunisia (44^, +3). Among the top 30 national rankings Fifa only Italy (12^, +1), Denmark (20^, +1) and Nigeria (26^) will not participate in the World Cup. The next Fifa ranking will be published on June 10th.
