ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The candidatures for the “Enzo Boschi” Award 2026, a recognition dedicated to the memory of the Italian geophysical eminent, established by the Italian Society of Physics (SIF) on initiative and with the contribution of the National Institute of Geophysics and Vulcanology (INGV). The Prize, worth 3,000 euros, is intended for a young researcher or researcher who has achieved significant results in the field of Geophysics and, more generally, Earth Sciences. SIF members and associates can participate in order with the membership fee 2026 (to be paid by 8 May 2026) and have a PhD in Geophysics or Earth Sciences obtained by no more than five years.
Applications must be accompanied by curriculum vitae et studiorum, a scientific report on research activities carried out, the list of publications and any other document considered useful for the purposes of the competition. At least two letters of presentation are also required. A Scientific Commission, appointed by the SIF Presidency Council and chaired by the President of INGV or his delegate, will examine the questions received and propose the winner or winner. The prize will be awarded on the occasion of the 11th National Congress of the Italian Society of Physics, scheduled in Florence from 11 September 2026.
