MILANO (ITALPRESS) – The next 21 April 2026, will be held in Astana, at the Rixos President Astana, the international forum Italy Kazakhstan Supply chain forum Energy transition in Central Asia, preparatory event at the Regional Ecological Summit Expo (RES 2026), scheduled from 22 to 24 April. A note from the Association for Trade Italo-Kazako (Acik), states that, in a context of deep industrial and infrastructural renewal, Central Asia is at the center of strategic dynamics related to the global energy transition. The forum was created with the aim of analyzing the crucial role of supply chains and supply chains in the development of sustainable, efficient and resilient models. The initiative represents an operational platform of comparison between international institutions, enterprises and stakeholders, with a specific focus on key sectors such as petrochemicals, logistics and sustainable aviation fuels (SAF). Among the main objectives of the event are the identification of strategic priorities for the development of the supply chains, the presentation of projects and requirements of supply and the analysis of the main operational criticalities, including logistics, certifications and access to financing.
The program will be divided into three main sessions: an institutional opening dedicated to the role of supply chains in the energy transition, a panel session focused on innovative solutions along the Middle Corridor and a series of operational case studies (ACIK Talks) on issues such as the preparation of local supply chains, the development of sustainable fuels and opportunities for industrial and commercial growth. High-important institutional interventions are also envisaged, with the participation of government and institutional representatives both Kazakh and Italian. The forum is aimed at a qualified public consisting of public administrations, industrial enterprises, logistic operators, engineering companies, financial institutions and technology providers from Kazakhstan, Italy and the entire Central Asian area.
