Renault presents the Twingo E-Tech Electric Prototype at the Paris Motor Show

ROME (ITALPRESS) – Renault will display the Twingo E-Tech Electric Prototype showcar on its stand at the Paris Motor Show 2024, Oct. 14-20. Unveiled in November 2023, it will be presented to the general public for the first time. In 1992, Renault revolutionized the car world with the Twingo, a brightly colored vehicle that made everyday life more enjoyable, embodying Renault’s voitures à vivre to perfection. Reintroducing the spirit of the first generation, Twingo E-Tech Electric Prototype is now designed as a 100% electric city car designed for uncompromising urban use.Original and ingenious, Twingo E-Tech Electric Prototype responds to the challenges of our times and creates the unexpected, recalling the soul of the original Twingo with its minimalist MPV profile, mischievous headlights, agility and a great likability.Twingo E-Tech Electric Prototype, with a small footprint, is agile in the city but also practical with its 5 doors. Its MPV profile, topped by a fixed panoramic roof, provides occupants with a generous and bright interior in keeping with the philosophy of voiture à vivre. The modernity of the proportions and the perfectly fluid treatment of the body surfaces are complemented by a series of details that draw inspiration from the first Twingo, reinforcing its personality with a clever mix of charm and technology. Continuing a story that began more than 30 years ago, the Twingo E-Tech Electric Prototype showcar heralds the future fourth-generation Twingo production vehicle, to be marketed in 2026. Developed by Ampere with the intention of offering an entry price of less than 20,000 euros, it confirms Renault’s ambitious goal of making electric mobility accessible to all with this model complementary to the other vehicles in the electric range: the Renault 5 E-Tech Electric, Renault 4 E-Tech Electric, Megane E-Tech Electric and Scenic E-Tech Electric.
