Take the block of the marine traffic in entry and exit from the Iranian ports. Tehran “We want peace, but Israel does not respect any red line”

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The forces of the Central Command of the United States (Centcom) will begin to implement a block of all the incoming and outbound marine traffic from the Iranian ports on 13 April to 10:00 ET (the 16 in Italy), in accordance with the announcement of President Donald Trump. It was announced by Centcom on X.

“The block will be applied in an impartial manner to ships of all nations entering or leaving from the Iranian ports and coastal areas, including all Iranian ports on the Arabian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman,” reads in the message. Centcom forces, the note states, “will not block the freedom of navigation for the ships that transit in the Strait of Hormuz from and to non-Iranian ports”, or from the ports of Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrein and United Arab Emirates.

The naval block imposed by the American Central Command on Iranian ports is “an additional pressure card” to push Tehran back to the negotiating table. The military and strategic expert Colonel Nidal Abu Zayd said this, commenting on the TV at Jazeera the decision of Centcom that will come into force today. According to Abu Zayd, the measure essentially has an economic character, but could prelude to a “composed” military action that unites suffocation by sea to targeted air raids against the residual objectives in the depths of the Iranian territory. The analysis coincides with what is reported by the Wall Street Journal, according to which the door remains open for a second round of talks between Washington and Tehran. The expert pointed out that, despite the impact on the flow of Iranian oil exports, the effectiveness of a complete block could be limited by the wide extension of the country’s land borders and the alternative routes available.

IRAN “SICUREZZA PORTI O PER TUTTI O PER NESSUNO”

The Khatam al-Anbiya Command of the Iranian Armed Forces has launched a clear warning: the safety of ports and maritime routes in the Persian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman will be guaranteed “or for everyone or for anyone”. In an official statement, the military headquarters underlined that Iran will not accept any unilateral naval blockade imposed by the United States or by other actors, reasserting that any restriction on freedom of navigation in the region will have to cover all parties involved or will not be applied at all.

The message comes in response to the decision announced by the Central American Command (Centcom) to impose a blockade on Iranian ports, interpreted by Tehran as a provocation destined to strangle the economy of the country and to force the return to nuclear negotiations. The Khatam al-Anbiya Command, responsible for strategic defence and operations in the Gulf, said that Iran is ready to respond to any threat to navigation, protecting both its commercial and international routes crossing the Hormuz Strait, a crucial hub for 20% of world oil.

IRAN “VOGLIAMO LA PACE MA ISRAELE NON RISPETTA NESSUNA LINEA ROSSA”

Iran desires peace and has demonstrated it concretely, but is faced with “a Zionist entity that does not respect any red line”. A spokesman of the Iranian government said this in a statement issued to the TV at Jazeera. “The Islamic Republic has always sought peaceful solutions and has given evidence of good will on several occasions – said the spokesman – but unfortunately we must confront a regime that ignores every limit and every international rule.” The statement arrives at a time of strong tension in the region, after the announcement of the American naval blockade on Iranian ports and the threats crossed between Tehran, Washington and Tel Aviv. The spokesman reiterated that Iran will continue to defend its sovereignty and national security in the face of any provocation, while confirming the willingness to dialogue if reciprocity is respected. The Tehran government also accused Israel of being the main obstacle to regional distension, calling it “the destabilizing factor” in the Middle East.

LIBANO, IDF “DISTRUTTO TUNNEL HEZBOLLAH NEL SUD”

The Israeli military destroyed an underground tunnel used by the Militiamen of the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. The Israeli Defense Forces (Idf) announced on X. The underground passage was destroyed after searching inside. The Idf “will continue to operate firmly against the terrorist organization Hezbollah and will not allow it to be surrendered to the citizens of the State of Israel”, concludes the note.

In recent days, after the ceasefire in Iran, the Idfs have limited operations south of the Litani River, especially in the city of Bint Jbeil. On the diplomatic front, a historic round of negotiations is scheduled tomorrow in Washington between Israel and Lebanon at the US State Department.
