TORINO (ITALPRESS) – After more than a decade of participation in the New York Motor Show, Alfa Romeo was once again the protagonist of the 2026 edition, which took place from 3 to 12 April, consolidating its position in the world automotive scene.
For 124 years, the New York Motor Show offers a look at the future of mobility, affirming itself as one of the most prestigious and long-term events of the world automotive calendar. In this iconic setting, Alfa Romeo brought together a range of models that embodies the brand’s DNA: a unique synthesis of Italian design, technological innovation and unmistakable driving dynamics.
At the centre of the stand stood out Nuova Tonale and Stelvio, both expression of Alfa Romeo’s commitment to combining timeless beauty with cutting-edge engineering solutions, offering an authentic and exciting driving experience.
Reflectors on the New Tonale, which reinforces the presence of Alfa Romeo in the premium compact SUV segment. Designed to embody the Alfa Romeo philosophy of “necessary beauty”, Tonale expresses a functional design that reflects the exciting performance on board. Characterized by a more imposing road presence and a wider carriageway, it has a bold and redesigned front on which stands a concave shield grill, inspired by the iconic 33 Stradale.
Under the hood, the New Tonale is powered by a four-cylinder turbo engine of 2.0 liters technologically advanced that delivers 268 horses and a pair of 295 lb-ft, combined with a nine-speed automatic transmission and the Q4 integral traction series, which ensure dynamic performance in every condition.
Stelvio continues to represent a point of reference for the sport spirit of Alfa Romeo. Thanks to the advanced technology and the excellence of Italian design, this highly performing SUV offers a balanced, engaging and refined driving experience. Powered by a turbo four-cylinder engine in line with 2.0 liters that delivers 280 horses and a pair of 306 lb-fts, Stelvio represents the reference standard of the segment for driving pleasure. Together with Giulia, Stelvio will remain available until 2027.
