ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Today, at the Ministry of University and Research, the Technical Tables dedicated to medical training with specific reference to the methods of access to graduate courses and the system of specialized training. Promoted by the Minister of the University and Research, Anna Maria Bernini, the Tables aim to promote the comparison between institutions, universities, students and representatives of the sector.
A first Table – dedicated to the reform of the semester open for access to undergraduate courses in Medicine and Surgery, Dental Health and Veterinary Medicine – involved representatives of the Ministry, major university institutions and the student component, both internal and external to representative bodies.
A second Table – on specialist medical training – met, together with MUR, representatives of universities, the National Health Service, professional orders and doctors in training.
During the meetings a comparison has been started on the methods of application of the new measures, with particular attention to the needs of the students and the resident and the overall functioning of the system.
The work will continue with periodic meetings to give continuity to the dialogue and to gather further useful elements to the progressive strengthening of the new access model.
