SOFIA (BULGARIA) (ITALPRESS/BGNES) – Rumen Radev’s “Progress” party is starting to win the eighth parliamentary elections in Bulgaria over the last five years. BGNES mentions the first exit polls of Alpha Research at the closing of the ballots, according to which “Progressive Forestry” would conquer 37.5% of the votes; GERB-UDF by Boyko Borissov 16.2%; WCC-DB 14.3%; MRF-New Starting 8.4%. The turnout is around 47%.
“We expected to get first. We wait for the final results,” said Radev, who, questioned about the possibility of forming a minority government, answered “We will do everything we can to avoid new elections.”.
