MADRID (SPAIN) (ITALPRESS) – “I was very pleased to see him yesterday at Laureus, he should have been here in Madrid, but the forfait of Alcaraz did not condition my decision to be here.” So Jannik Sinner, at Sport’s microphones, on the eve of his debut in the Madrid tournament.
“Madrid, where I didn’t play last year and where I never went beyond quarters, is an opportunity to better understand how to adapt to these conditions. I know what I’ve done in the last three tournaments: it’s been a long run, but physically I feel pretty good, even if a little tired there is how normal it is”, says number 1 of the world that keeps your feet on the ground and its usual balance.
“I’m good at not listening to anyone, only me and my team can know how much work is behind it. It was a very important time with many positive and successful matches, but I know that the season can change in a moment. I don’t get up when I win and don’t throw myself down when I lose, I’ve always been quiet, convinced that sooner or later the results would come because I worked so hard,” concludes Sinner.
