MARANELLO (MODENA) (ITALPRESS) – The Milan Design Week 2026 debuts Ferrari Hypersail, the revolutionary 100-foot offshore single-hull signed Ferrari, which marks a new frontier in oceanic navigation. The project was founded as an open innovation platform, in which engineering skills, design and research merged to transfer the know-how developed in motorsport into the nautical world. Developed by Tech Team Ferrari together with the Ferrari Design Studio led by Flavio Manzoni and the naval architect Guillaume Verdier, Hypersail is designed to “fly” on water thanks to a sophisticated control system and advanced aerodynamic and hydrodynamic solutions, also powered by renewable sources such as sun, wind and movement. In this context, design is not only aesthetic but direct expression of function: each line and volume meet performance and stability requirements. The livery is another distinctive element: the Hypersail Grey, linked to the carbon structure, is combined with the Fly Yellow, a historical color of the brand, creating a strong reference to the Ferrari identity and its iconic models. The result is a balance between innovation and heritage, in which materials, shapes and colours dialogue to express speed, efficiency and recognisability. During the Design Week, Hypersail is the protagonist of an exhibition at the Ferrari Flagship Store in Milan and of an installation dedicated in the heart of the city, confirming itself as a symbol of a new synthesis between design, technology and performance applied to the offshore boat.
