TEHERAN (IRAN) (ITALPRESS) – After the repeated statements by US President Donald Trump regarding alleged internal divisions to the Iranian political system, the leaders of the Islamic Republic responded with a series of joint declarations aimed at underlining the cohesion of the country.
The head of the Iranian judiciary, Gholamhossein Mohsani-Ejei, criticized Trump hard on X, stating that the labels “hardliner” and “moderate” are simple Western constructions without real foundation. “All the factions and currents in Iran – he wrote – maintain unity, cohesion and fidelity to the leadership of the revolution.” On the same line the President of Parliament Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and President Masoud Pezeshkian, who have published identically on X: “In Iran there are no extremists or moderates; we are all Iranians, united in an iron bond between the people and the State, with full obedience to the Supreme Leader, and we will regret the aggressor of his actions.”.
Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi added that “the battlefield and diplomacy are two faces of the same war, fully coordinated”, reasserting that “the Iranians are more united than ever.” The statements link the Iranian response to an attempt to counter the division narrative advanced by Washington, reitering the official position of Tehran according to which the nation remains firmly united under the leadership of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

The Iranian ambassador to Moscow, Kazem Jalali, announced that Tehran granted exemptions from payment of transit rights in the Hormuz Strait to several countries, including Russia. According to Russian agencies, the exemption is part of a larger measure aimed at facilitating maritime traffic in the strategic section, but maintaining the obligations for other nations. The decision aims to strengthen economic and naval cooperation between Iran and Russia in the context of current regional tensions.
