On Rai 3, Italy paused to support its beloved town. Cingoli, a municipality in the Marche region of the province of Macerata, triumphed over twenty candidates for the title of Italy’s most beautiful village, one for each region. This small hamlet of 9,400 inhabitants, perched at 631 meters on Mount Circe, has long been known by the symbolic appellation “Balcony of the Marche”. In Cingoli, the final evening was watched collectively at the Civic Club among flags, applause and a touch of superstition. When host Camila Raznovich announced the result, the mayor referred to it as a “historic moment” and praised the community’s beauty and cohesiveness. The title “Borgo dei Borghi” honors more than just beauty; it celebrates a thriving community, a visible artistic history, and an increasingly sought-after quality tourist experience. Behind Cingoli came Arenzano in Liguria in second place and Zungoli in Campania in third.
