ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Renault once again confirms its connection with the Saloni dell’Auto and participates in the Salone Auto Torino 2026, scheduled from 11 to 13 September in the heart of the Piedmontese capital. An event that is confirmed among the most important Italian events dedicated to the automobile and the mobility of the future. In the wake of the “two-legged” strategy of Marca, which flanks a 100% electric range to an increasingly complete full hybrid, Renault will bring to Turin some of its main product innovations. The protagonist of the exhibition space in Piazza Castello will be Nuova Renault Mègane E-Tech Electric, presented for the first time to the Italian public. Evolution of the electric compact that in 2022 inaugurated the new generation of electric vehicles Renault, Nuova Mègane is deeply renewed in design, but above all in performance and technology, strengthening its positioning in the electric C segment: new battery, substantial improvements in charging, radical simplification of the range, to be increasingly close to the needs of customers. To complete the expo will be Twingo E-Tech Electric, symbol of the new electric urban mobility Renault, and Nuova Clio Full Hybrid E-Tech, among the most appreciated hybrid cars of the European market, expression of the Renault strategy that accompanies the energy transition with a complementary offer of electrified solutions. On an increasingly competitive electric compact market, Renault significantly evolves New Mègane E-Tech Electric along four key directions, to be increasingly aligned with the real uses of electric power: an even more dynamic design, greater electrical competence, richer and more useful technologies and a simplified, clear and balanced range. The front has been completely redesigned and introduces a new light signature to lozenges that strengthens the visual identity of the model, while the proportions and the arrangement contribute to an even more marked road presence. The technical evolution passes through a new 67 kWh LFP battery and a 220 cv electric motor that allow to reach up to 500 km of WLTP autonomy and a continuous current charge up to 165 kW, able to bring the battery from 15% to 80% in about 24 minutes. On board, Nuova Mègane E-Tech Electric offers an increasingly connected experience thanks, in particular, to the openR link system with Google integrated, to the Route Planner dedicated to electric vehicles, to the compatibility with Google Gemini and to a digital ecosystem designed to facilitate every experience of everyday use. With over 30 driver support systems available and new features such as driver recognition system, One Pedal function and bidirectional charging, Nuova Mègane E-Tech Electric confirms Renault’s approach to intuitive, secure and accessible electric mobility. New Mègane E-Tech Electric will be available soon from 33,950 euros in 2 versions, in a very simple perspective: New Mègane E-Tech Electric Esprit Alpine 220 cv comfort range from 33,950 euros and New Mègane E-Tech Electric Techno 220 cv comfort range (version destined for company fleets) from 39,950 euros. Next to Nuova Mègane E-tech Electric, Renault will exhibit Twingo E-Tech Electric, destined to collect the legacy of one of the most iconic cities cars in the European market, and Nuova Clio Full Hybrid E-Tech, a model that continues to represent a reference point of Renault hybrid technology thanks to the balance between efficiency, driving pleasure and versatility of use. The presence at Salone Auto Torino 2026 confirms the will of Marca to make the energy transition increasingly concrete, proposing to customers a complete and complementary offer, able to respond to different mobility needs but united by innovation, sustainability, pleasure ofguide and accessibility.
