SASSARI (ITALPRESS) – Four people were arrested by the Carabinieri in the investigation of the murder of a rescuer of 118, killed in Buddusò (Sassari) on the night of 7 August 2025. The military executed at dawn an order of precautionary custody in prison, issued by the gip of the Tribunal of Sassari at the request of the Procura, against four inquiries held responsible, for various reasons, of voluntary murder premeditated in contest and detention and illegal port of arms.
According to the investigators, two of the investigators would be the alleged mandates of the crime, accrued following personal dissides, sentimental and professional, while the other two would be the material performers. For the murder a compensation of about 15 thousand euros would have been incurred.
The investigation, conducted by the Carabinieri of the Nucleus Investigative of the Provincial Command of Sassari, the Companies of Ozieri and Iglesias, with the support of other departments of the Arma, used telephone interceptions and images of video surveillance. he hid the night of the crime and escape. The carabinieri have also recovered and seized what is believed to be the murder weapon: a 7.65 caliber gun with abrasive, loaded and part of the ammunition. Also seized the garments that would be worn by the authors of the murder.
The investigations also made it possible to shed light on a previous assault by the victim on 28 April 2025 in a stopover to Carbonia. On that occasion the rescuer had been hit on the head with a masonry peak, then recovered and seized by the investigators. The four arrested were transferred to the House of Cagliari.
