Alfa Romeo Junior debuts in Paris in Hybrid version

PARIS (FRANCE) (ITALPRESS) – Alfa Romeo returns to the Mondial de l’Auto in Paris with its full range and as many as three major previews on an exclusive stand that will transport visitors on an immersive journey into the heart of Made in Italy, celebrating its craftsmanship excellence and cultural tradition. The concept of the exhibition area, called “Bottega,” in fact goes beyond the simple display of cars, and offers a complete multisensory experience, thanks to the collaboration with some of the most famous national excellences, including Alcantara, ART, Borgese, Evolution, Desire, Magna Pars, Poltrona Frau and Schedoni. Spotlight on the international preview of new 136-hp Alfa Romeo Junior Ibrida Speciale. An authentic cool and unique object, Junior offers the most comprehensive range in the segment to meet the needs of every customer. The unreleased sporty compact combines attractive styling with the most advanced technology in terms of connectivity and driving dynamics with dual exhaust tailpipes, 18″ “Holes” alloy wheels and Sport pack with Sabelt seats, Alcantara upholstery and sporty characterization in the exteriors embellished by the new “Legend” grille. Alongside it will be the new Junior 280 Veloce, presented for the first time at a French public event, featuring the Sport pack and panoramic glass roof.
Queen of the stand will certainly be the iconic 33 Stradale, the custom-built car produced in only 33 examples that takes on the role of the manifesto of the Italian brand? and its values of Sportiness, Passion and Made in Italy.
Only 2 years ago the project represented a dream. Today the dream is a reality, and the first delivery is scheduled for December 2024. The fuoriserie, which also has customers in France, will therefore be “the cameo” of the Alfa Romeo stand. Space will also be given to a preview of the new Tonale MY25. Alfa Romeo’s award-winning C-Suv gets a makeover in the interior with a redesigned center tunnel, new rotary selector for the automatic transmission, and a revamped instrument cluster display. The specimen on display is a Veloce version in Hybrid configuration with a 1.5 turbocharged 4-cylinder 160-hp powerplant with variable geometry turbine (VGT), paired with the new seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission in which a 48V “P2” electric motor of 15 kW and 55 Nm (135 Nm thanks to the 2.5:1 transmission ratio) is integrated, capable of transmitting motion to the wheels even when the internal combustion engine is off.
Completing the display in Paris is the 520hp Giulia Quadrifoglio Super Sport, the special, limited edition that, also declined on the Stelvio, pays tribute to the brand’s sporting history by celebrating its first victory at the Mille Miglia in 1928 with the legendary 6C 1500 Super Sport. Distinguishing it is a bold reinterpretation of the Quadrifoglio logo that, for the first time in more than 100 years of history, is dressed in black.
