ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Yemeni forces have performed 1122 precision operations against the Houthi militias in the last hours, as part of the offensive announced to restore the sovereignty of the state in the areas controlled by the rebels. The Yemeni forces spokesman, Majed al-Nazili, told the local media today by explaining that the attacks hit positions of artillery and rocket launchers, defensive fortifications, approach and advanced routes, lines and means of refueling, reinforcements and concentrations of fighters, as well as government organs and control centers of the houthi.
Operations covered the fronts of Saada, al-Jawf, Taiz and the coast, and were conducted with war planes, drones, artillery, missiles, rocket launchers and snipers. According to the budget provided by the spokesman, the attacks caused the death of 1747 militiamen and the destruction of 364 military means and equipment. Al-Nazili emphasized that the armed forces will continue with determination in the battle of liberation and in the recovery of the territories and institutions of the State.
Yesterday Yemeni president Rashad al-Alimi had announced the start of a military operation to regain the areas under houthi control. The offensive follows the intensification of rebel attacks last month against government forces and their advance towards the Red Sea coast and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, strategic hub for maritime traffic and oil tankers. The clashes resumed in Yemen since last July, after the collapse of the 2022 truce, against the background of the enlargement of the Middle East conflict.
FORZE GOVERNATIVE AVANZANO VERSO MOCHA
The coalition in support of legitimacy in Yemen will continue to provide full operational support to the Yemeni armed forces to end the coup and restore the state and its national institutions. The official spokesman of the coalition forces, the general of division Turki al-Malki, to the Saudi press agency “Spa”, reiterated the commitment of the command of the joint forces alongside the legitimate Yemeni government and the Yemeni people. Al-Malki denounced the ongoing terrorist attacks of the Houthi militia and repeated practices against the Yemeni population, including the internal siege, forced displacement of citizens from their cities and villages, hunger, looting and splitting of resources destined for war effort, insults to the sheikhs and members of the tribes, the dismemberment of the social fabric, the terror against the children. It is, he said, of flagrant violations that have brought disasters and suffering to the Yemeni for long years.
The general added that the attacks of the Houthi militia against the Kingdom and attempts to strike the holy capital ( Mecca) and the city of the Prophet (Medina), as well as the deliberate and systematic targeting of civilians and civil objectives in different cities of the Kingdom (Riyadh, Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, Najran, Taif and Yanbu), and attempts to attack ships of the Red Sea Al-Malki reaffirmed the original right of the Kingdom to defend its sovereignty and to take all operational measures to stop the serious violations of militia, because of the national responsibility towards the Two Sacred Mosques, its citizens, national resources and residents on the territory. He also confirmed his continued support for Yemen and its people until the restoration of the state and its institutions, the elimination of the houthi militia and at the end of the threat to freedom of navigation in the south of the Red Sea and in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, a threat considered as an attack on regional and international security, freedom of navigation and world trade.

1122 OPERAZIONI CONTRO HOUTHI, 1747 MORTI
(ITALPRESS).
COALIZIONE CONFERMA SOSTEGNO A FORZE ARMATE CONTRO HOUTHI
