New Hyundai Tucson, hybrid motorizations and new generation connectivity

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Hyundai unveils New TUCSON, the bold segment C SUV that combines advanced electrified drives to the new generation Pleos Connect infotainment system, offering superior comfort and even wider and satisfying usability. Inspired by Hyundai’s “Art of Steel” stylistic philosophy, Nuova TUCSON combines a muscular exterior design with a functional and tidy cabin, designed to simplify everyday driving and adapt to different lifestyles and needs. Thanks to increased dimensions, a spacious and modular cabin and advanced electrified motorizations, Nuova TUCSON has been developed to meet a wide range of needs: from daily travel to family use, to longer travel and leisure activities.
For European markets, the new TUCSON is produced at the Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech factory in Czech Republic. Since the launch of the first generation in 2004, TUCSON has established itself as one of the most successful models of Hyundai in Europe, with over 2 million units sold across the continent. In 2025 it ranked first in segment C SUV segment for the private market in Europe
“Renewing an icon is never easy,” says Xavier Martinet, President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Europe. “We could have gone on safe and just evolved a successful model. But it’s not Hyundai’s style. We challenged ourselves and decided to advance TUCSON in every important area for customers, from design to comfort, from technology to efficiency. The result is not simply the new generation of TUCSON. It is the best TUCSON we have ever made.”
New TUCSON interprets the concept “The Boldest SUV” through Hyundai’s “Art of Steel” style, combining structural solidity and a strong road presence. From the muscular proportions of the exterior to the refined cabin, each element expresses a functional design and a precise aesthetic vision. The exterior design revolves around the pronounced and sculptural wheel, which enhance the tension and intrinsic resistance of steel. To balance the character intervene cleaner side surfaces and net body lines, which strengthen the bold identity from New TUCSON SUV. TUCSON measures 4.560 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width and 1.670 mm in height. Compared to the previous generation, it grows 35 mm in both length and width and 20 mm in height, with a stronger road presence and even more space on board. The front overhaul grows by 20 mm, contributing to the protection requirements of pedestrians, while the opening angle of the doors passes from 73 to 83 degrees to facilitate access on board. Among the new exterior colours introduced in Europe include Moonlake Blue Metallic and Moonlake Blue Matte, Rich Walnut Metallic and Rich Walnut Matte, as well as Ignite Red. Colors that aim to enhance the sculptural character of the model. At the Paris Motor Show on October 12, a new version of the TUCSON will be unveiled.
At the front, the H-Edge light signature combines indirect central lighting with perimeter light elements, emphasizing the horizontal development of the car and giving it a broader and more solid look. Integrated in the front design, it creates an immediately recognizable signature both day and night. At the rear, the sculptural optical groups Prism Rear Lamp accurately define the volumes and profile of New TUCSON. The three-dimensional internal structure generates a distinctive luminous signature and strengthens the precise and technological character of the rear design. New TUCSON is also available with Micro Pixel Lighting (MPL). With 25,600 single LED pixels, the system allows you to precisely control the light beams and createwelcome and greeting animations. The LED rear optics are standard on the whole range.
