NAPOLI (ITALPRESS) – A day of culture and sport for 40 children and girls of the Light Point of Save the Children of Naples Chiaiano (managed with Democratic Parents of Naples), organized by Save the Children and Kinder Joy of moving together with Rita Grande. In the morning the visit to Città della Scienza, between interactive museum of the human body and Planetarium.
In the afternoon, at the Napoli Tennis Center, the Kinder Joy of moving Tennis Experience with Rita Grande, Italian tennis champion and sports commentator, and the technicians of the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation: an approach based on the game, as in the Tennis Trophy and Racchette projects in class. Children of the Light Point of Naples Chiaiano already participate in the Joy of moving project, active in 6 other spaces of the Organization active throughout Italy.
The method, scientifically validated, was developed with the University of Rome “Foro Italico”, the CONI and the MIM of Piedmont after a three-year research on over a thousand children of the primary school: it promotes motor, cognitive, emotional and relational development. The events outside the Light Points are organized by Ferrero and Save The Children to further promote inclusion through sport, sailing, cycling and tennis.
Kinder Joy of moving is the international project of Social Responsibility of the Ferrero Group. “Experiences like the one that the boys and girls of the light point of Naples Chiaiano have just lived, demonstrate how much sport and culture can be powerful tools to expand their horizons, feed their curiosity and strengthen their self-confidence – said Giusy Ghisu, Coordinator of the project for Save the Children -. Through activities ranging from the discovery of science to the approach to tennis and racchetta sports, they had the opportunity to learn, experiment and share new experiences with their peers. Thanks to the collaboration with Ferrero and the Kinder Joy of Moving project, we continue to create concrete opportunities for growth, helping to counter educational poverty and to guarantee each child and child the opportunity to develop talents, aspirations and fundamental skills for their future”.
