From Ferrero and Save the Children a new motor game at the Light Point of the Eagle

L’AQUILA (ITALPRESS) – At the Lightpoint Save the Children of L’Aquila the Fungus was inaugurated, the new motor game donated by Ferrero thanks to the involvement of its employees in the internal initiative “Global Step Challenge – Every Little Step Counts”. The donation is the result of a shared commitment to promoting well-being and active lifestyles, with the aim of offering children and girls a space dedicated to play and movement.
Fungus is one of the playful-motor games of the Kinder Joy of moving PARK, designed in collaboration with the Department of Engineering of the Federico II University of Naples, based on the Joy of moving method and designed for girls and children between 5 and 12 years. Through the movement, the game invites children to experiment and develop different skills, creating a positive and engaging context. In particular, it stimulates intrinsicness, encouraging them to take the initiative, get on the plate and turn them. The presence of the Councillor to the social policies of the Eagle Manuela Tursini, representatives of AppStart, Ferrero, Save the Children and the families of the territory, confirms the value of the collaboration between the two realities and their common commitment to the welfare and development of the new generations.
This initiative is part of the international project of Kinder Joy of Moving Social Responsibility and the multiannual partnership with Save the Children, as part of a broader path of shared actions, born from the common intention to offer children, children and teens who attend the Light Points involved the possibility to develop talents, aspirations and new skills, even when the social and family context risks limiting their opportunities. Through educational, formative and ludical experiences, Ferrero and Save the Children renew their commitment in contrast to educational poverty, promoting the right to play and access to growth opportunities capable of accompanying each minor in their development path.
The collaboration between Save the Children and Kinder Joy of moving, launched in 2019, focuses on the right to play and education, bringing Joy of moving in 7 Light Points methodology, high-density educational spaces created by Save the Children to offer free educational, recreational and cultural opportunities to girls, children and teenagers.
Over the years, the Light Point has become an important educational presidium for the local community, with ongoing activities throughout the year in contrast to educational poverty and social isolation. Thanks to the new motor game, about 500 children will benefit from additional opportunities for aggregation and fun.
