In Australia Marquez wins duel with Martin, Bagnaia at -20

PHILLIP ISLAND (AUSTRALIA) (ITALPRESS) – Marc Marquez, riding the Ducati Gresini, won the Australian Grand Prix, held at the Phillip Island circuit. For the eight-time world champion it was his third win of the season, which came despite a small stumble at the start. Forced, however, to settle for second place, Jorge Martin (Ducati Prima Pramac) after a strenuous resistance until five laps to go. The last step of the podium is occupied by Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo) who loses an additional five points in the standings from Martin (now 20 lengths distant). Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati Pertamina) and Enea Bastianini (Ducati Lenovo) finish fourth and fifth, respectively. In order, Franco Morbidelli, Brad Binder, Maverick Vinales, Fabio Quartararo and Raul Fernandez complete the top ten. Marco Bezzecchi, on the other hand, fell.
