ROME (ITALPRESS) – The latest smart software update arrives, with new features for the smart 1 and smart 3 models, once again reaffirming the brand’s commitment to user-friendly comfort and technology. Highlights include “Send to Car” for smooth integration of charging stations; “Easy Entry/Exit” for personalized convenience; and “Drive Setup Button” for instant customization of driving preferences. Among other new features, the update also introduces improved entertainment and navigation functions. The release of the update started in mid-October. The new OTA update introduces a number of innovations that further enhance comfort and driving pleasure while keeping the smart customer at the center. The new “Drive Setup Button” offers important advantages in terms of convenience and personalization. Users of smart 1 and smart 3 will now be able to reset their preferred driving modes and assistance systems with ease. With a single touch, the vehicle adjusts to personal preferences for Power Regeneration, Lane Assist, Emergency Lane Assist, Automatic Speed Adjustment, Lane Change Assist and Speed Limit Warning, offering a fully personalized driving experience from the moment you start the smart. This means that the driving experience can be customized instantly, without having to manually adjust settings, and the vehicle can always be adapted to the customer’s personal preferences. The new “Send To Car” feature allows customers to send charging station locations directly to the navigation system via the Hello smart app before starting the journey. This results in effortless planning for longer trips. In addition, smart 1 or smart 3 drivers can now benefit from greater convenience with the new “Easy Entry/Exit” feature. The latest update introduces the option to activate it by pressing the brake pedal after entering the car. Now, seat settings can automatically return to the preferred position either when the door is closed or through the new brake pedal activation, providing a personalized and more comfortable driving experience. “At smart, the customer is at the center of everything we do. We constantly listen to their feedback and strive to improve the user experience with each update. The update also includes expanded entertainment options, with access to more digital radio stations and updated music streaming apps.
