Justice, Meloni “No conspiracy but disregard for the will of the people”

ROME (ITALPRESS) – “I would not speak of a conspiracy, I want to say it because I always read about this scheming Meloni, I don’t think there is a design to subvert the will of the people but a disregard for the will of the people.” Thus Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni at the 80th anniversary celebration of Il Tempo. I believe that in this nation a strong policy, which does not have skeletons in the closet and does not have a second agenda and not conditioned by personal interests and not conditionable, is a problem for many.” Then, speaking about the Italy-Albania protocol, he added, “I consider the ruling to be unreasonable because it does not concern the issue of Albania, but all illegal immigrants coming from some nations. The judges are referring to a European Court ruling but the non-validations of detentions of illegals started much earlier. The Albania issue is instrumental, I think the ruling is dictated by a very different vision approach than the government has.” Albania’s is “a project that can change the issue of managing migration flows, everyone understands that,” he stressed. “The Italy-Albania protocol will work and I do not intend to allow it to be dismantled just because, and I am talking about politics, there is a party that does not agree with this reading of how illegal immigration should be managed,” he concluded.
