ROME (ITALPRESS) – An Israeli airstrike against a television station office in Beirut killed one person, the Lebanese Health Ministry says. The ministry says five other people, including a child, were injured in the attack overnight. The child was seriously injured and was hospitalized. Pan-Arab television channel Al-Mayadeen, which is politically allied with the Lebanese group Hezbollah, said its office in the area between Jnah and Ouzai, on the outskirts of Beirut’s southern suburbs, was targeted. “Al-Mayadeen holds the Israeli occupation responsible for the attack on a well-known media outlet’s office,” the TV said. Al-Mayadeen stated that the office had been evacuated. The Israeli army did not issue any warnings before the attack.
