Israeli air raid south of Gaza, hits house. At least 23 dead

ROME (ITALPRESS) – An Israeli air raid has hit a house near Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, killing at least 23 people. According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, local sources confirmed that Israeli army forces targeted a house in the Al-Manara area, south of the town of Khan Yunis, killing 28 citizens, most of them children and women, and dozens injured with various injuries. Continued Israeli shelling of the Gaza Strip has resulted in massive and unprecedented human and material losses in the context of international efforts to reach an immediate ceasefire. This attack follows another raid that killed 18 people at a former refugee school in the Nuseirat refugee camp. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) claims that Hamas members were in the school compound planning attacks against Israel. In total, more than 770 people have been killed in the 19-day offensive in the Gaza Strip.
