NAPLES (ITALPRESS) – MSC Cruises is expanding its programming in the Eastern Mediterranean for winter 2024/2025.The company is offering a brand new itinerary aboard MSC Sinfonia departing weekly from the port of Bari to discover the wonders of Greece and Turkey, destinations characterized by a climate that makes them pleasant to visit even in the colder months of the year.MSC Sinfonia will depart every Saturday from Bari to the port of Piraeus, Greece, where it arrives after a day’s sailing. Once at their destination, guests will visit Athens and explore ancient roots at archaeological sites such as the Parthenon Temple, the city’s landmark, located at the top of the Acropolis and considered one of the world’s most important cultural monuments.Afterwards, the ship will sail to Izmir, Turkey’s third-largest city, and Istanbul, the magnificent capital on the shores of the Bosphorus, a link between East and West that blends in its architecture and monuments the elements of the cultures that have passed through it over the centuries. Numerous excursions have been organized by MSC, including a visit to Ephesus, which is 80 km south of Izmir, or a visit to the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, the largest covered market in the world, which welcomes large numbers of souvenir-loving visitors every day.On the way back MSC Sinfonia, after a day’s sailing, will again stop in Greece, this time in Corfu, one of the islands in the Peloponnese archipelago. With its magical fishing villages and long white beaches, this island is a place where one is captivated by its beauty and variety of colors.
