Conou brings sustainability challenges to Ecomondo

RIMINI (ITALPRESS) – CONOU is participating again this year in Ecomondo in Rimini, the green and circular economy fair. The Consortium is present in Hall South Stand 103, promoting institutional meetings and conferences to reflect on the challenges related to sustainability in all its aspects, from digitalization, to lubricant quality, from research to the environment.CONOU also brings PFAS to the center of the debate: the indestructible, highly polluting and carcinogenic molecules, used everywhere, that are spreading in drinking water all over the world, also endangering circularity processes. “CONOU is an excellence of circular economy in Europe and we could not miss Ecomondo, the event that turns the spotlight on the challenges of green and circular economy and the environment. We will be speaking at the States General of the Circular Economy and will be discussing, at our booth, three very important topics in three different appointments: cybersecurity (a challenge for citizens and businesses of any size), the sustainability of lubricants in a world that wants to decarbonize, and the lesser-known PFAS, which we will be increasingly obliged to talk about because they accumulate in water and the environment and are a threat to individuals and the human species itself,” says CONOU President Riccardo Piunti. Here is the program of the different panels organized by CONOU at the 27th edition of Ecomondo: Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 11:30 a.m. – “Environment and Digitization: why it is increasingly important to talk about Cybersecurity,” Thursday, Nov. 7 at 11 a.m. – “PFAS: Eternal Pollutants. Obstacle to Circularity,” Nov. 7 at 3 p.m. “Lubricants and the Environment: irreplaceable but sustainable”-Panel in collaboration with UNEM.-photo Italpress -(ITALPRESS).
