TURIN (ITALPRESS) – Paul Pogba will not return to wear the Juventus jersey: as was in the air for several weeks, the parties have decided to part ways even though last Oct. 7 the Tas reduced the French midfielder’s doping disqualification. “Juventus Football Club and Paul Pogba announce that they have mutually agreed on the termination of the sports performance contract, effective Nov. 30, 2024,” reads a brief note from the Bianconeri club. “The club would like to wish Paul the best in his professional future.A delight in his first Juventus adventure from 2012 to 2016, Pogba had become a cross on his return to Turin in 2022 due to an injury to a lateral meniscus followed by mishandling of the injury and subsequent relapses, then testosterone positivity in a check carried out after Juventus’ away game against Udinese on August 20, 2023, on the first day of the championship. Disqualified for four years, Pogba had had his stop reduced by Tas to 18 months, with the possibility of returning to the field from next March 11, on the threshold of his 32nd birthday. He will do so but in a different jersey from the black and white one. “There are times when things don’t go as we would like, but one thing is certain: the bond I have with you, dear fans, will remain unforgettable,” Pogba bids farewell via social – You have given me so much, more than I can express in words, and I will always carry with me all the affection you have given me. You will forever be in my heart. Good luck Juventus.”- photo Ipa Agency -(ITALPRESS).
