GENOA (ITALPRESS) – Genoa has made official the dismissal of coach Alberto Gilardino. “The club thanks coach Gilardino for the goals achieved together over the years and wishes him the best for his career,” reads a note from the Rossoblù club. Genoa is fourth to last in the standings with 10 points in 12 league games and on Sunday, after the national team break, is expected to play a 12:30 p.m. challenge-salvation match with Cagliari.
